We provide competitive pricing and financing options to give you budget flexibility. Our team of qualified technicians and trusted service partners provide high quality workmanship and safety for our valued customers.

Pro Tip: If you plan on switching to propane from furnace oil, make sure you contact your oil company and ask them to place your deliveries on hold. You will not be reimbursed for the oil in your tank, so it’s best to run your tank down before switching to propane.

Transform your space with a compact and efficient propane boiler and take advantage of its versatility to provide heating and hot water for your home.

Heat your home with a high efficiency Energy Star certified propane furnace to provide consistent comfort. These units pair well with heat pumps to provide year-round comfort.

Tank or tankless, the choice is yours when it comes to propane water heaters! Tank options are efficient, cost effective and produce hot water faster than comparative electric models. Regain floor space with a compact tankless water heater that produces an abundance of hot water on demand and doesn’t lose heat from storing water in a tank for several hours.

GasCheck

In Ontario, we are legally required by the province to inspect every propane installation we do and re-inspect at least once every 10 years for the life of the install. This is referred to as the Gas Appliance System Check, or GasCheck.

How it works:

  • We will contact you to schedule your GasCheck at an agreed upon date and time
  • Inspection times may vary, but most are completed within 2 hours
  • The results of the GasCheck will be reviewed with you by one of our Qualified Inspectors

Benefits of a GasCheck:

  • A Gas Check ensures that everything is in Compliance of TSSA codes, in safe operating order and leak free.

Propane Appliance Safety

Regular Maintenance

Have all of your propane appliances and propane tanks inspected regularly by one of Avernir Energy’s qualified technicians. Don’t forget to ask about our 24ProPlus Plan!

Know the Signs

Propane should always burn clean with a blue flame in your appliances. If you notice yellow, irregular flames or soot around your appliance that indicates that the propane isn’t burning properly and could result in carbon monoxide being released.

Install Detectors

Place carbon monoxide detectors near propane appliances to monitor air quality and alert you in case of a leak. In the event of a leak, vacate the property immediately and contact 911.

Ventilation is Key

Ensure all appliances are properly vented outside to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. Do not use outdoor propane appliances, such as grills and generators indoors or in an enclosed area.
